Border Inspection
The port of Skagen is EU-approved as Border Inspection Point – BIP for import of frozen fish and shellfish and fish oil from the third world.
Together with FF Skagen the port is registered as Border Inspection Point - BIP for fish oil from the third world and offers storage facilities for storage and control of these products.
The Border Inspection Point with related office facilities and cold storage is situated at the East Bassin 2. The short distance from the pier to the border inspection and the cold storage means optimal conditions for unloading of trawlers and cooling ships even with deep draft.
